At Schmitten, we believe that every small step toward sustainability leads to a better tomorrow. As a brand that brings joy to millions, we are also committed to protecting the environment that sustains us all. This World Environment Day, we’re proud to highlight the meaningful actions we’re taking to reduce our environmental impact—and to nurture a greener future.

We are committed to minimizing packaging waste by reducing the use of plastic and paper materials at our factory. Our packaging is thoughtfully designed to use fewer resources while maintaining quality and safety. Additionally, our Schmitten Moments (Tin)  packs are reusable, encouraging customers to repurpose them creatively rather than discard them after use.

We continue to make our production process as green as possible. Our facility operates on a biomass-powered boiler that runs on renewable energy—substantially lowering carbon emissions. We also use a water scrubber system to purify exhaust gases and minimize smoke emissions, helping to keep the air around our facility clean and healthy.

Additionally, we use environmentally friendly refrigerant gases—404 and 404A—in our refrigeration systems, which have a lower impact on the ozone layer and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

We believe that sustainability should be visible, tangible, and part of our everyday surroundings. That’s why we maintain lush green areas around our factory premises and regularly carry out landscaping and tree care initiatives to preserve their beauty and ecological value.

This year, on World Environment Day, our team will be planting more trees across our factory grounds, further enhancing our green spaces and reaffirming our long-term commitment to environmental wellness. These efforts are about more than just planting trees—they’re about growing a healthier, more vibrant environment for our employees, our community, and the planet.
